My Life is on the run…
There is something to be said about the power of exercise and its ability to transform not only your physical state, but your emotional as well. Tomorrow I have a 4 mile run and I’m actually excited for it.
This is my last week at my job, I’ve accepted a new position and have made an attempt to revitalize my life, quite a big task but so is training for a half marathon. Since I’ve started to train I’m focused on every area in my life, not just the need for increased physical fitness. The Baltimore Half Marathon is literally changing my life and I can feel it. There is no grand parade needed for this statement, but I did feel inclined to share.
Now back to the training…I’ll be in Boston this weekend and I’m hoping the change of scenary won’t distract me from what I need to get done, a good run. This is a lighter week in the schedule, hooray, but I know the increase is coming and fast. I plan to run hard tomorrow, followed by a full day of activity. I’m looking to see if the run can energize me throughout the day and carry me through until I hit the sack.
