ROUGH PATCH
Carpe diem! I’ve hit my first rough patch in training. The last few days my legs ache during and after a run. I stretch before and after, but perhaps there are additional stretches that I should be doing. Yesterday my muscles felt strained as I approached mile 2. Today they ached again. I definitely feel better as I run overall, but my legs are a different story. Any suggestions for stretches or remedies?
On a different note I notice the difference in my breathing and I received my first “looking good” compliment this week. The latter keeps me motivated and excited, I’m thinking of a shopping spree come October. I also feel better in my eating habits as well. It’s strange how exercise does pull it all together.
