Small Celebrations

Published by carpediem at 10:32 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Carpe Diem! I’m convinced small celebrations are key to building up enthusiasm and confidence for the big day so therefore I’m celebrating my completion of a 4 mile run today.  It took one hour, I kept a pace that was comfortable, but I was anything but comfortable around mile 3. I started to panic with the pain, however I pumped up the volume on the ipod and I never felt better when I hit mile 4. Later in the day my celebration came to a screeching halt when the exhaustion set in. I’m keeping hydrated with gatorade and water, but I’m looking for a suggestion with substance, is there a particular food that I should be eating to build up energy? Let me know and thanks for reading!
